July 16: And on the 5th day we didn't rest

Another productive (un)rest day. Some people who missed the Othello tunnels yesterday went of to see them. Steve and Marguerite saw a bear and had to turn around before reaching the tunnels. Four new riders finished their three day trip from Victoria to meet up with us. Two adults and four childrern were picked up from the ferry. The traffic was terrible. Imagine how good it would be if even 20% of the drivers on the road chose to bike carpool or take transit. In the evening we had a meeting where everyone got to meet each other so it looks like an exciting week ahead.
